Specifications include, but are not limited to: maintenance and construction work for miscellaneous equipment and boiler repair or modifications on a time and material basis in accordance with the KC Board of Public Utilities (BPU) requirements, terms and conditions, and Boiler General Services Agreement on an as-needed basis. BPU requires services on a scheduled and forced outage basis. Required services include: boiler tube repair and replacement, burner repair, boiler cleaning, duct welds repair, air heaters repair, baghouse, bag and cage replacement, Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) repair, Circulating Dry Scrubber (CDS) repair, Plant Equipment, Balance of Plant and miscellaneous work requiring qualified laborers such as welders and boiler makers.
