Specifications include, but are not limited to: Harvey County, Kansas will accept bid proposals for Concrete Parking Lot Repairs at the County's Pine Street Facility located at 215 S. Pine Street in Newton, Kansas. This work includes all materials and labor necessary to perform and complete the described project scope. This project consists of concrete pavement removal and replacement and replace existing pavement markings. Existing concrete pavement averages 6 in depth. a. Removal and proper disposal of concrete and excavated materials will be subsidiary to the item Concrete Pavement (6 Uniform)(AE). b. Concrete mix design for Concrete Pavement shall be approved by the County prior to construction. c. 1 long 5/8 rebar or smooth dowels shall be used for pinning into existing concrete pavement inserted 6 deep at a spacing of no more than 2 apart. d. Wire mesh, 6 X 6, 9 gauge shall be subsidiary to the item Concrete Pavement (6 Uniform)(AE). e. Joint saw cutting shall be at a spacing of 9-8, and a depth of 1-1/2. f. Vehicular and pedestrian traffic shall be protected from work operations using cones, caution tape, and/or orange snow fence.
