Specifications include, but are not limited to:1. Work with EWEB to design and develop the commercial insurance program. Research insurance markets to determine appropriateness of current coverage and recommend other additional or different coverage as needed and provide an overview of operational coverage trends in the market; Obtain competitive quotes for coverage exposures listed in Section 2.1 and any new and specialty exposures or insurance products as requested by EWEB; Develop a mutually agreeable renewal action plan and timeline that highlights accountability and meets EWEB’s objectives; Conduct strategic planning sessions to review current performance and establish future objectives and strategies for EWEB’s risk and insurance program; Development of marketing strategies and marketing reports. 2. Assist in the evaluation of self-insurance fund administration and financing strategies, retention and deductible levels; Identify and negotiate with insurers, on EWEB’s behalf, for most competitive costs and comprehensive coverage. Contractor shall be authorized, to represent and assist EWEB in all discussions and transactions with all insurers, provided that Contractor shall not place any insurance on behalf of EWEB unless so authorized by EWEB. 3. Assist with all documentation and other steps to obtain commitments and implement EWEB's insurance program upon EWEB's instructions. It is understood that Contractor will not independently verify or authenticate information necessary to prepare underwriting submissions and other documents relied upon by insurers.
