Specifications include, but are not limited to: Request for written proposals to provide a needs analysis for a potable water system at the 5-Mile Picnic Area, Bowery Creek, Utah ; The 5-Mile Picnic Area located five miles south of Parowan and one mile up Bowery Creek. Project 1 – Water Tank 1. Determine tank capacity needed to supply potable water to the area that include up to 12 picnic sites, two vaulted toilets, and a pavilion. 2. Tank design to include valve structure at tank for rapid flushing and testing capabilities. Project 2 – Waterline and Outlets 1. Determine and map location and amount (feet) of waterline needed from tank to water outlets. 2. Size of waterline needed to handle water load 3. Determine and map water faucets needed for picnic areas, group area, pavilion, and vaulted toilets with adequate water. 4. Engineer stamped blueprint/plans for the water system; • Contractor is responsible to determine tank size and location. • Waterline size and location. • Hydrant/faucet numbers and locations. • Drainage valve type and locations. • End-product to be a report that Iron County can use for permitting, and construction purposes, and to include engineer stamped blueprint/plans for the water system that will the Utah Division of Water Quality standards. • Meet and work with Natural Resource Specialist and to determine and meet the objectives of the project. • Any changes to project or products used from bid documents will need to prior approval, in writing, by the Natural Resource Specialist. • There shall be nothing implied in the project that indicates future work for the awarded contractor beyond the scope of this single project. • Successful bidder must be able to complete the work in the time that has been set.
