Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Procurement, shipping, and construction of a standby generator within a walk-in arctic enclosure on a helical pile raised steel platform foundation, connected to the Vacuum Sewer Plant in Chevak, AK. B. Demolish and dispose of existing non-functional generator and associated manual transfer switch, conduits and conductors, demolish and dispose of existing fuel pumps and piping. Existing fuel tank to remain. C. Provide a 60kW/75kVA, 208Y/120V, 3-phase generator in a skid mounted, walk-in, arctic enclosure. Provide a 270-gallon double walled sub-base fuel tank mounted beneath the generator within the arctic enclosure. Tank is 270 gallons which provides an approximate 50 hour runtime for the generator. D. Demolish existing manual transfer switch (MTS) and provide a 200A, automatic transfer switch (ATS) in the same location as shown on drawing E-201. Connect the new generator to the alternate source input of the ATS via underground conductors. Connect the normal source input of the ATS to the existing VSP main service. Connect the load side of the ATS to panel MDP-VAC. E. Provide a 50Amp feeder via underground conductors from panel MDP-VAC to a house panel located in the new generator enclosure. The house panel will supply normal (utility) power to the generator enclosure lighting, heater, battery charger, coolant heater and other ancillary generator loads.
