Leveraging the Utah State Board of Education’s Early Intervention Software Program (EISP) as articulated in R277-496, Nebo School District is seeking a Differentiated Literacy Software Program that will bolster our multi-tiered system of support in grades K-3. The district’s goal in this adoption is to provide a systematic, adaptive learning software program that will effectively support teaching and learning practices for our elementary-school students by scaffolding students as they struggle and advancing them to higher levels as they demonstrate proficiency. The purpose of this request for proposal is to enter into a contract with a qualified offeror to provide our elementary students with a Differentiated Literacy Software Program that will effectively support our multi-tiered system of support, significantly improve Tier II and Tier III reading intervention in our elementary schools, and offer all teachers and students greater access to evidence of students’ literacy performance. 1. Solution needs to be a district wide licensing and therefore must have the capacity to support the entire district. 2 Provide a web-based, personalized reading curriculum for K-3 students, which covers the major areas of reading instruction—Phonological Awareness, Phonics, Fluency, Vocabulary, and Comprehension. In addition, the proposed solution can also provide support for older grades as needed. 3. The proposed solution needs to offer individualized feedback on students’ oral reading performance. 4. Focus on foundational skills to develop automaticity, fluency and vocabulary
