Specifications include, but are not limited to: The WORK is located in the New Exchequer and McSwainpowerhouses, near Snelling, California. The WORK, in general, consists of adding full areaautomatic fire detection to the interior of both facilities where detection is not alreadyprovided, adding duct mounted smoke detection to both supply and return air handling units for unit shut down to prevent the spread of smoke, adding an annunciator to thetop-level entrance of both powerhouses, and connecting alarm, trouble, supervisory andCO2 discharge activated as described within the Contract Documents. The WORK also consists of preparing a set of As-Built plans showing locations of all equipment and conduit installed for the project.
