Specifications include, but are not limited to: The procurement of a 40-ton HVAC Packaged Unit for the Lopez Unit to include removal of existing equipment, delivery, installation, start-up and training. A. One (1) 40-ton Rooftop Packaged Unit cooling only, with horizontal airflow to match existing duct transition, VAV fan capable of 12,800/4480 max/min cfm, of supply air to the building, electric duct heater, ESP 2.00, TSP 5.00, total cooling capacity - 460MBH, 375MBH Sensible 85MBH Latent. EAT (Deg FDB/FWB) 85/56 LAT (Deg FDB/FWB) 53/52, suitable for 460V / 3ph / 60Hz electrical connections (See Specification “23 74 13 - Outdoor Packaged Central-Station Air-Handling Units Heating and Cooling v.20170701”) B. Properly remove and dispose of the R-410A refrigerant and the existing Air Handling Unit AHU-E1. (See Specification “01 90 00 - Facility Demolition”). C. Pull new wire to match load on unit as required by manufacturer recommendations. D. Install the Packaged Unit in the same location where the demoed equipment once was, reconnecting to the existing control, electric panel, and gas piping. E. New unit shall fit on existing pad or vendor responsible to extend concrete pad with no overhang of new unit. F. Install smoke sensor in return duct. G. Existing unit has an electric 54kW duct heater, vendor to make sure it is in good condition and operating properly with new package unit. H. Unit shall be connected to emergency power. I. Reuse the existing ducting and vents. Some minor transition ducting modifications / additions may be required to connect directly to the new unit’s supply and return if the new unit is of a slightly different design than the old unit. J. Unit shall be factory rated at 3400 ft above sea level. K. Unit to be charged with R-410A Refrigerant for the 40-ton condenser within the Rooftop Packaged Unit L. Filters shall be re-usable and rated per ASHRAE 52 and full extra set of spare filters are to be provided by vendor M. New disconnect shall be within 20’ from the unit. N. Two (2) iWave-C commercial Air cleaners in the supply duct, new package unit shall be equipped with 24VAC or 120v service. O. Install hail guard onto the condensing unit with access door. P. Acceptable models are York, Carrier, and Daikin and/or A/E approved equivalent.
