Roofing products to be installed to industry standards and according to manufacturer’s recommendations. Screws or fasteners on roof panels must be a covered application with screw heads not exposed. Exterior facing screw heads are approved for some trim applications.; Contractor to make necessary repairs, if found, to underlayment using CDX plywood of same thickness. Removing and reinstalling existing skylights with new fixed (non-venting and non-opening) VELUX skylights or approved equal. All existing exhaust vents, kitchen and bathroom fan vents, laundry fan vent, and attic fan vents are to be replaced with new components, need to be flush plumb, and have a new weathertight seal installed to industry standards and manufacturer’s specifications.; Contractor to replace existing vented skylights in garage with 4 Handy Home or Shedlight Venting Skylights or approved equal. Installation of synthetic vapor barrier throughout with additional snow guard on eaves, valleys, rakes, and porch is required.
