Specifications include, but are not limited to: Weber State University (WSU) in Ogden, Utah is requesting bids for updating equipment in the Shepherd Union bowling alley. The intent of this project is to upgrade the pinsetters, gutters, lighting, the ball return, and the scoring system. There are eight lanes in the alley, and all will need to be upgraded. WSU requires a freefall pinsetter system that does not use string pinsetters. WSU would like the capacity to have bumpers in the gutters. Pin lighting for the lanes should be included on all of the lanes. Demolition and removal of the existing system, and training for the operation of the new system should be included in the bid package. The scoring system shall be included, and displayed on new monitors to replace the old system. See photos below of existing conditions of the lanes and pinsetters. WSU is looking for a plug and play system, so after the upgrades are complete the lanes are fully functional and ready for bowlers.
