Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Municipality of Anchorage Public Transportation Department is looking for busstop amenities including shelters with the following design, engineering, andstandard elements below. In addition to shelters with benches and lighting included,the PTD is looking for recumbent deterring seating solutions for our bus stops, aswell as fire and tamper resistant waste receptacles. All amenities to meet FTAStandards. Seating options will need to include freestanding surface mount optionsas well as shelter integration options.1. Any bus stop shelters proposed will need to be 12 feet wide, 5 feet deep, and haveat least a 7-foot-high opening across the front of the shelter.Elements aredescribed as a front elevation, as looking at a shelter from the street.2. Any bus stop shelters proposed are to be surface mounted by design.3. All hardware needed to properly install shelters is to be included, for example: ifstainless steel anchors or security head fasteners are required.4. All construction instructions are to be included with vendor bids; this is to includeminimum pad depth.
