Specifications include, but are not limited to: 5.1 All work shall be coordinated with the Facility Supervisor representative or his designated representative. 5.1.1 Contractor shall contact the Facility Maintenance Supervisor or designee for mowing schedule adjustments during extended periods of inclement weather. 5.2 All trash, & debris shall be picked up prior to each mowing around the facility. 5.2.1 At no time may litter be mowed over. All litter shall be picked up prior to mowing. 5.3 All structures on the properties shall be mowed around. 5.3.1 All structures and concrete areas shall be trimmed. 5.4 Mowing shall be done on a weekly basis but may vary during the mowing season due to weather conditions. 5.5 Mowing may take place any time throughout the week. 5.6 Mowing of fine cut areas shall be coordinated so that turf height does not exceed 5 inches. 5.7 Mowing of rough cut areas shall be coordinated so that turf height does not exceed 8 inches. 5.8 On all properties on the street side, if there is a sidewalk, there needs to be four (4) mowing passes on our (City) side of the sidewalk in addition to being mowed from the street to the sidewalk; All other sides will get two (2) mowing passes on perimeter cuts. If there is a fence, one to two mowing passes out side if possible and two (2) mowing passes inside when doing perimeter cuts. 5.9 Grass clippings shall be mulched and evenly dispersed so that they are not left in wind rows. 5.9.1 Grass shall not be blown into streets or onto sidewalks.
