Specifications include, but are not limited to: Furnish and deliver one (1) submersible pump as specified herein for the Department of Environmental Services, City and County of Honolulu, Honolulu, Hawaii. The pump shall be used at the Wahiawa Wastewater Treatment Plant to pump sewage, and shall be compatible with the existing pump system. II. Minimum Specifications. A. Make/Model: Flygt NP3102.060, or approved substitute. B. Impeller: 183 mm. C. Voltage: 460 VAC. D. Power Supply: 3 Phase. E. Horsepower: 5 HP. F. Discharge: 4 inches. G. Cable Length: 65 foot cable. H. Pump Design. 1. The pump shall be capable of operating in a continuous non-submerged condition in a horizontal position in a dry-pit installation, permanently connected to inlet and outlet pipes. The pump shall be of submersible construction and will continue to operate satisfactorily should the dry-pit be subjected to flooding. 2. The pump shall be fitted with an integral base with suction inlet in all 316 stainless steel construction, which supports the weight of the volute and allows for ease of inspection by telescoping or pivoting away from the pump suction to allow impeller inspection, adjustment, and verification of impeller to wear ring clearance without disturbing suction pipe flanges. Flanged, mechanical joint, or other pipe fittings shall not be acceptable. There shall be no need for hoists, pulleys, or other lifting devices and the service inlet shall be safely operable by one person. 3. The pump shall have a ½” National Pipe Tapered (“NPT”) gauge connection on top of service inlet.
