Specifications include, but are not limited to: Cleaning The food service department cleaning requirements include, but are not limited to, refrigeration units, cookware, utensils, equipment, and countertops. Custodial staff handles the floors in the kitchen, food service lines, and cafeteria seating area. A la carte The SFA offers a la carte selections for students and staff. Offerings follow Health Food Certification guidelines. Vehicles The SFA employs a courier to handle deliveries of most items to the different schools. Larger requests must be requested via work-order through the maintenance department. Cash Handling The SFA strives to minimize cash transactions through the use of student accounts within the POS system. Cash that is collected is credited towards a student’s account and balanced against the POS. Cash is deposited on a daily basis.
