Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Ketchikan Gateway Borough is seeking competitive bids for the 2023 Walker Field Improvements Civil Site Work project. Work will entail all site work on some 4.47-acres of the Walker Field Parcel for the Walker Field Improvements project, including: structure demolition, drainage installation, subgrade preparation, drain rock base fill grading,, sand removal, concrete block and cast-in-place concrete retaining wall construction, water and sewer service installation, perimeter curb installation, field fencing and netting installation, safety fencing installation, dugout construction, and all other work necessary to prepare the field surface for artificial turf installation to follow. Work will include coordinating site work around conduit and light pole installation by others.
