Specifications include, but are not limited to: Must research and determine best process for the PDG application process following federal guideline requirements. Must work with other State early childhood care and education agencies to obtain needs assessment information to compile into a comprehensive needs assessment document to include in the Grant Application. Must write the budget and budget narrative as part of the contract. Must provide STATE program manager weekly progress reports while writing the grant. Must provide a draft application to STATE no less than two weeks prior to federal grant due date. Must make any changes to the proposal requested by the STATE. Must complete the final grant application and submit to the STATE program manager seven or more days before the deadline for submission in the following formats: a hard copy, a Word document, and also by electronic means in a format compatible with the STATE.
