Specifications include, but are not limited to: SCOPE OF PROPOSAL. 1.1 Dallas Independent School District is seeking an individual agent or firms to provide HVAC AFTERMARKET PARTS, MOTORS, VALVES, PIPES, AND ACCESSORIES. Vendors are allowed to include subcontractors, if and when appropriate. 1.2 The district will award this RFP to multiple respondents, based upon the evaluation of all proposals received. A contract forproviding parts forHVAC will be executed with the successful vendors as a result ofthis process. More details are included in the Specifications selection ofthis Request forProposal. 1.3 This proposal should include the vendor's comprehensive assortment for HVAC Aftermarket Parts, Motors, Valves, Pipes and Accessories as detailed in the Specifications Section ofthis solicitation document. 1.4 This RFP is in six (6) parts/sections: I. Notice to Vendors II. Instructions to Vendors III. General Conditions IV. Responsibilities of Offerors V. Specifications and VI. Offer Forms. These parts are applicable and form a part of all contract documents and a part ofthe terms/conditions ofall purchase orders for products included in the specifications and offer forms. 1.5 This is a contract and effective from December 19, 2013 (pending Board approval) forone year with two (2) one (1) year options to renew and end on December 19,2016. This is with the unilateral discretion of Dallas Independent School District based on factors such as, but not limited to, unit prices, delivery satisfaction, compliance with terms/conditions, and needs of the district. To exercise each option to renew, Dallas ISD must give written notice to the vendor of its election to renew for one (1) additional year within forty-five (45) days of the expiration of the agreement. If Dallas ISD fails to timely exercise any ofthe options torenew, all remaining options to renew shall expire and terminate.
