Specifications include, but are not limited to: The following is a general overview of professional services that may be required upon development of the final Scope of Services for this project: The services of the selected Firm will include the following: 1. Independent Peer Review of Construction Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents: Make a site reconnaissance, visit to observe the Authoritys Central Office to review the physical feasibility and constraints related to design and construction of the replacement HVAC system. Review Construction Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents for the project as released for bidding, the bids being subsequently rejected. Assess Construction Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents with specific attention to the following. o Suitability of the new system to operate with the DX and DOAS systems previously installed to reliably heat and cool the over 130 different work areas to filter and dehumidify incoming make-up air and to pressurize a 40,000 sq. ft. single story office facility, o Suitability of the specified Building Automation System (BAS) to monitor, control, record and annunciate the alarm functions of the HVAC system, the DOAS units and the three roof mounted DX systems. o Suitability of the construction sequence to convert the work areas from the fan coil based system to the VAV system while maintaining reasonable air flow and temperature control in the work areas that are already converted and those not yet converted.
