Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Division is seeking proposals to establish a contract that can provide a minimum of 350 Training Credit Hours training to public drinking water system operators in the state for the contract period of May 1, 2018 through April 30, 2019. The bulk of the training and coordination activities are for all Community and NonTransient Non-Community Water Systems, and Class 1B Transient Non-Community systems. Specific Activities: 1. Provide Training to Water System Operators and Personnel Develop training curricula, arrange and pay (where applicable) for training instructors, schedule and conduct training throughout the state and onsite at water systems as needed. Plan, coordinate, and provide a minimum of 350 Training Credit Hours of training. 2. Training Coordination and Activities Provide the necessary personnel, equipment, services, and facilities to develop, schedule, and announce training courses. Register attendees and answer questions from prospective attendees, process incoming registration forms and checks, prepare and distribute course certificates. Work closely with Division staff to develop annual training calendar. Assure posting of sessions in multiple media outlets (newsletters, websites, mailings, etc.) Coordinate courses with other organizations and higher education institutions to meet the operator training needs of the Division and Vermont Public Water Systems. Work with other organizations, Vermont colleges and universities, trade associations, and consultants to improve the variety of educational opportunities and ensure the appropriate trainings are made available to Vermont water system operators and personnel.
