Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Delaware Department of Transportation is seeking to establish a three (3) year open-end agreement with a consultant to assist its NPDES Section with engineering design services for stormwater retrofits that may include stream restoration, green technologies, or new technology best management practices (BMPs). The selected consultant will also assist with retrofit planning, water quality improvement plan development, and other environmental design work, as needed, to comply with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) regulations. Retrofits could include upgrading existing BMPs or design of new BMPs. All new or retrofitted BMPs must comply with existing Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) regulations at the time of design.
