Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Semi-Annual Maintenance and Testing Record system specifications. Clean exterior and vacuum or blow-dust interior of the following: a. UPS Cabinet(s) b. Battery Cabinet(s) Measure and record the temperature of the following: a. Room b. Breakers c. Connections d. Controls Perform a complete visual inspection of the following: a. Sub-assemblies b. Wiring Harnesses c. Contacts d. Cables Check air filter(s) for cleanliness and clean or replace as necessary. Check the following for discoloration, component swelling, leakage, or DC caps that extrude over 1/8. a. Rectifier Boards b. Inverter Boards c. AC Capacitors d. DC Capacitors Check the inverter and rectifier snubbers for burned or broken wires. Check all connections for proper torque and/or discoloration. Check fuses on the DC capacitor deck for continuity (if applicable). Measure and record harmonic trap filter currents. Measure and record all low-voltage power supply levels. Record all voltage and current readings as found on the system display panel. Record all voltage and current readings from measurement device. With customer approval, simulate a 3-minute power outage. Record and measure the following: a. Duration of Test b. Discharge Current c. End DC Voltage d. Return to Normal Batteries: Visually inspect for corrosion on terminal posts and connectors and clean/neutralize as necessary. Visually inspect all connections and tighten as necessary. Measure and record each strings voltage and current. Measure and record charger output voltage and current. Measure and record voltage from most positive to ground, and from most negative to ground. Measure and record the following for each jar/unit: a. Make/Model b. Date Code c. Voltage d. Resistance e. Recommendation 1. Items to be checked, inspected, cleaned, and replaced. 2. Semi-Annual Maintenance Report Submit a Semi-Annual maintenance report. The report shall include the following: Equipment the work was performed on. Location of the equipment work as performed on. Date the work was performed. Technicians who performed the work. Status of all items performed above. Recommended repair items.
