Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful candidate must be able to provide qualified inspectors that are capable of performing inspection of: Agreement 1656- Portland Cement Concrete Components Precast, prestressed concrete PT strands reinforcement bars Portland cement concrete plant inspection Hot-Mix Asphalt plant inspection Field materials testing Structural timber Piling, and other related items There may also be a need to provide miscellaneous materials inspection services such as Portland Cement Concrete plant inspection and bituminous concrete plant inspection. The firm must also demonstrate the capability to perform a wide range of special tests that may be required by the Departments Materials & Research Section. Inspectors will be required with varying degrees of expertise including: American Concrete Institute (ACI) certification Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) certification Certified Timber Inspector Mid-Atlantic Region Technician Certification Program (MARTCP) Certification General inspectors
