The City desires to acquire a comprehensive Energy Monitoring System, including hardware, software, monitoring equipment and monitoring services to be installed in two City facilities, for the comparative monitoring of electrical usage at a level granular enough to identify different electrical loads, including but not limited to Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and lighting in the various sections of each building. The City facilities identified for this project are the Georgetown Municipal Complex (GMC), located at 300-1 Industrial Avenue and the Georgetown Public Library, located at 402 W 8th Street. The Citys intention is to decrease energy consumption in each building, by providing site specific consumption information obtained by the Energy Monitoring System thereby increasing staff awareness of real time energy usage related to daily activities, and encouraging staff to find more energy efficient methods to perform daily tasks.
