Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work of the project includes replacement of six (6) DX split system air conditioning units within the Center for Archaeological Research Building. Four units are included in the base bid and two additional units are included as alternates. The associated work shall also include replacing the supply diffusers, modifying the electrical circuitry to accommodate the new DX split system equipment, insulating the existing supply ductwork (presently not insulated) as an alternate, replacing the refrigerant and condensate drain piping, modifying the existing fire sprinkler piping to accommodate the removal and installation of the split system equipment, replacing the split system controls, and testing/balancing of the supply, return and outside air duct systems and any related work.
