The Sussex County Council seeks Engineering Firms to provide water/wastewater consulting services for the North Coastal Planning Area for a period of five years. The scope of services will include, but is not limited to: Planning, design, rights-of-way, easement and land acquisition, contract administration, construction contract administration, construction inspection, operations and maintenance training, and related services for the extension of wastewater collection, transmission, and treatment and expansion of related facilities within the North Coastal Planning Area. Projects that require immediate attention include a planning study for the Goslee Creek Area, especially for how it relates to proposed upgrades at existing Pump Stations Nos 207 & 210, planning and design for the proposed Herring Creek Sanitary Sewer and Water Districts and upgrades at the Wolfe Neck and Inland Bays Regional Wastewater Facilities.
