Specifications include, but are not limited to:The project scope will involve construction and building envelope testing services for the ADRDL Addition and Renovation at South Dakota State University, Brookings, South Dakota, OSE# R0315—63X. The building site is on the North West side of campus. The scope of work will include construction testing services as required by the project plans and specifications and may include: • Earthwork. • Cast-In-Place Concrete. • Masonry. • Precast concrete and architectural stone units. • Structural Steel. • Steel Joist Framing. • Cold Formed Metal Framing. • Foamed In Place Insulation. • Fluid Applied Membrane Air Barriers. • Penetration Firestopping. • Joint Firestopping. • Exterior wall Spray Foam insulating air barrier • Exterior Panel Water Leakage • EDPM Roofing • Exterior Water Penetration (joints, storefront, curtain wall) The project consists of two substantial phases: Phase 01 – a 2 story new ADRDL addition with a partial basement, interstitial space and mechanical penthouse totaling 84,017sf. An expansion of the existing Central Utility Plant is included. Phase 02 involves the renovation and HVAC & electrical improvements of the existing ADRDL. Major Scopes of work include footings and foundations, building structure, exterior and roof closure, interior construction, equipment, mechanical and electrical. Site work encompasses 3.5 acres of site improvements.
