Specifications include, but are not limited to: Delaware Bay Dikes Repair & Prevention Project - Gambacorta and Army Creek Dike Improvements which generally consists of the clearing of trees and unwanted vegetation from the three dikes, raising the crest elevations of the dikes with earth fill to varying design elevations, replacement of existing rip rap with new rip rap revetment, installation of turf reinforcing mat on protected (inboard) side of the dikes and associated topsoil and seeding, placement of either a 12-inch thick layer of dense graded aggregate base or a paved pedestrian trail / maintenance drive on the finished crest of dike, improvements to the vehicle turnaround at the western end of West 3rd Street, all associated sediment and erosion control measures, and site restoration
