Specifications include, but are not limited to: The residential treatment program is intended to provide cost effective, comprehensive, evidence based residential treatment services for women and their minor children that can be sustained over time. The service system must address the individual needs of the target population, preserve and support the family unit and provide a safe and healthy environment for family members. The program is designed to: - Provide residential treatment appropriate to the needs of women and their children. - Promote wellness for both mothers and children - Promote a positive and nurturing relationship between women and their children. - Improve family functioning, economic stability and quality of life - Assist mothers and their children to successfully transition to independent living in the community.
