Specifications include, but are not limited to: Required Services: Follow guidelines from NFPA 72-2013, where applicable, to include: a. Check Wiring for shorts, opens, resistance to ground b. Check end of line resistor, diode, or capacitor c. Test all manual stations d. Calibrate smoke detectors: Sensitivity checked 100% year 1, 0% year 2 and 100% year 3. Heat detectors to be checked 20% per FA panel per year FYI: so at the end of 5 years 100% will be checked. e. Test all signals – horns, bells, chimes, lights, strobes, and speakers f. Test Zone and remote annunciation g. Test zone coding and pre-signals h. Test local and remote trouble signals i. Test fan shut down j. Test Elevator recall k. Test batteries l. Present owner with Fire Alarm Test Report per each of the three building groups as described above; 1.) Academic (AC) 2.) Housing (HS) and 3.) Coyote Student Center (CSC). Vendor to keep additional copies of all inspection records for the three building types. m. Report to owner all malfunctions and service requirements at the end of each building. If access is required via a scissors lift, it will be provided by USD and will be operated by USD personnel. Contractor is responsible for providing all other necessary equipment, materials and supplies to perform requested testing.
