Specifications include, but are not limited to: Indian River is soliciting interested professional architectural and engineering teams to submit a proposal to provide design services for the renovations and addition for various schools within the District. The total construction budget for the project is approximately $11 million and involves most elements of building construction and/or renovation including new classroom space in order to accommodate anticipated student growth . Indian River has been approved to add 38 classrooms to various schools within the district. The projects will include planning, construction , and equipment initiatives and could include health safety operations and accessibility improvements general building improvements HVAC installations including boilers, piping, air handling units, ductwork, fan coil units, exhaust fans, ducting and controls plumbing upgrades including replacement of branches, stacks, vents, and fixtures electrical installations including lighting, service and switchgear, panel boards fire alarm system upgrades additional power distribution for technology, and emergency generator site improvements include repair, reconfiguration and repaving of parking lots site improvements for design, reconfiguration of recreational areas technology equipment acquisition and installation to include but not limited furniture fixtures and equipment as well as any mechanical, plumbing, and life safety upgrades.
