Specifications include, but are not limited to: To provide Spanish/English translation and interpreting services on an as needed basis for the Red Clay Consolidated School District. Translation services consist of the following: Translating Spanish documents (i.e., letters from parents) to English for the benefit of district administrators Translating English documents that are published by the District to Spanish for the benefit of parents and students. o Typical documents requiring this service are those dealing with official school district policy, special education forms, psychological evaluations and assessment information Written translation of Individual Education Plans (IEP) and related service documents Attendance for purposes of oral translation at parent conferences, discipline hearings, due process hearings, IEP and IPRD meetings Home visits to make parent contacts and to obtain approval signatures.
