Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of work is limited to specific rooms in the building and includes demolition and modification of existing HVAC exhaust duct work, installation of new exhaust duct, installation of a new fan coil unit and chilled water lines, installation of new Phoenix valves and reprogramming of existing valves, minor electrical and plumbing associated with installation of new FCU and minor drywall removal and repair. The building is a fully occupied Crime Lab with increased levels of security access to specialized areas and limited designated onsite parking. Coordination of material delivery, removal, completion of background checks for all workers requiring access and employee access to and from the building is a major priority. In order to minimize disruption to the operations of the building and reduce the construction period within the designated building areas, it is requested that the Contractor complete all background checks and submittal, review, approval, purchase, fabrication and delivery of required materials prior to commencing physical work within the building. Execution of this phase is to be completed at the front end of the one hundred twenty (120) day schedule to minimize site mobilization.
