Specifications include, but are not limited to: Level II Maintenance- Includes, checking the batteries for proper specific gravity, testing of the coolant for proper concentration levels of antifreeze and conditioner, visual inspection of all vbelts, hoses and radiator core and piping. Contractor must start the generator and transfer the building load to check generator performance and switchgear operation; In addition contractor shall test the engine-related safety system for proper operation and SOS sampling of coolant. Level II maintenance will be performed once a year as required by facilities management. Level III Maintenance- Includes, engine oil, oil filters and fuel filters. Level III maintenance is designed by manufacture recommendations, SOS Sampling, allowing sampling to extend engine service intervals (typically no longer than three years). Level III maintenance will be performed once a year as required by facilities management.
