Specifications include, but are not limited to: SDSU expects the facilities to be residential in appearance, but distinctive as apartments, making them aesthetically distinguishable from the residence halls in this quadrant of campus. Off-street parking, inunit laundries, computer networking, and individually metered utilities are expected features of the project. Multipurpose spaces and community use spaces will be limited and developed as appropriate to the cost and rental rate structure. The scope of professional services will include: programming, concept development, 3D graphic representation, scope development, LEED and cost development. The University expects to explore multiple concept designs and unit mixes. The design team will aid SDSU in selection of the unit mix, number of facilities, and site layout. The three- and/or four-story buildings will be required to fully meet LEED V4 Silver, University design, and construction standards. The two story buildings will be required to meet a maximum of the design and construction standards. The services shall provide a space plan, program, and schematic design.
