Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Division of Family Health and Nutrition is seeking a Breastfeeding Consultant with experience to provide activities relating to our breastfeeding program. We are seeking a Breastfeeding Consultant to provide the following: • Provide overall direction and policy development for the North Dakota Breastfeeding Coalition (NDBC). • Ensure development of a 2019-2024 strategic plan which sets priorities, goals, and sustainability for the NDBC. • Plan and coordinate NDBC board meetings every other month (even months), in collaboration with the NDBC board and others as appropriate. • Plan and coordinate NDBC member meetings every other month (odd months), in collaboration with the NDBC board and others as appropriate. • Plan and coordinate an annual all member meeting, in collaboration with the NDBC board and others as appropriate. • Institute proper and appropriate management (i.e. grant reporting requirements) and fiscal controls (i.e. annual 501c3 tax filing, fundraising) for the NDBC. • Serve as liaison between the United States Breastfeeding Committee, NDBC and local coalitions (i.e. Member newsletter and State Biennial Breastfeeding Conference). • Other duties as requested related to the breastfeeding program. • Provide a monthly progress report of work activities with invoice.
