Specifications include, but are not limited to: Three University of Houston Downtown faculty members are coordinating an educational trip to Cuba for students . We anticipate the trip taking place between May 14, 2018 and May 22, 2018. We also anticipate 20-45 participants. We are asking for bids for groups up to 25 travelers and between 25-40 travelers. UHD is seeking a 9 Day Group and Round Trip airfare. International travel services for a Non-stop or no more than two stops for coach flight from Houston, Texas to José Marti International Airport, Cuba and returning from José Marti International Airport, Cuba to Miami International Airport, Miami, FL (USA) and then to Houston, TX (USA). Required Package Elements: 1. We anticipate between 18-25 paying participants in addition to 3 (free) faculty/administrators. Please provide two bids in the event that all classes fill. The second bid should be for 25-40 students. 2. Include extensive/full American or Latin style breakfast each day (ex: Eggs, bacon, toast, milk, juice, coffee, hot or cold cereal, fruit and pastries). 3. Include extensive/full American or Latin style lunch or dinner each day with the exception of Day 8 and Day 9. (ex: Sandwiches, salads, pastas, rice, beans, chicken, fish, beef, pork, vegetables, fruit and desserts). Day 8 will include dinner only and no meal will be included on Day 9 4. No Dedicated Program Manager. 5. On the ground provide a representative to accompany the group on all scheduled activities, including tours of city. 6. Vendor may suggest additional tour sites or alternative dates for the sites listed in the itinerary. 7. Two Star Hotel or better for all overnight stays. Hotels should be in safe locations. 8. Mandatory airfare, transportation, visa fees, taxes and fuel surcharges and any supplemental fees if applicable. 9. Include early cancellation fees and indicate whether fees are non-refundable. 10.Include all deposit and payment amounts and deadlines.
