Specifications include, but are not limited to: Recommend the security of the affected area to TSU personnel to prevent unauthorized access and damage to TSU property and equipment Conduct visual inspection of the exterior of damaged facilities to identify any physical damage, especially damage to building entrances/exits/windows which would compromise building envelope. Inspect building environmental controls, such as commercial power feeds, transformers, emergency power systems, HVAC and air handling systems and the water supply. Provide infrared and thermal imaging of electrical and roofing systems Inspect fire suppression and sprinkler systems Inspect and document damages to materials, supplies, inventory, parts, vehicles, etc. Observe, inspect and document damage to roads, ditches, culverts, swales, fencing, signage, lighting, etc. Quantify damages in appropriate terms such as number of items, units, parts, tons, square footage, linear feet, pounds, hours, days, etc. Estimate repairs according to current codes utilizing RS Means standards meeting all local, state and federal codes. Provide photos of damaged items, facilities, infrastructure, etc. Provide adequate location references including codified addresses, GPS coordinates or any other usual and customary references. Provide references, opinions, declarations, attestations as the cause or causes to the damage. Provide engineering analyses, calculations, studies, findings, etc. to support damage assessment conclusions and cost estimates Recommend hazard mitigation to prevent or eliminate future damages from occurring, Coordinate inspections, site visits, testing, etc. with appropriate TSU personnel, tenants, regulatory agencies and other third-parties as required Summarize and present the damage assessment findings to TSU.
