Specifications include, but are not limited to: Annual test, repair, and inspections/certifications of Biological Safety Cabinets (BSCs), clean rooms, fume hoods, and building HVAC HEPA filters currently includes the following equipment/rooms: (9) clean rooms: Clean rooms must include, at a minimum: Average particle counts room air exchange rates per hour static pressure HEPA filter integrity Air balancing and airflow visualization testing may be required. (11) Class II Type A or A/B BSCs: Biological safety cabinet certification must include, at a minimum, NSF/ANSI Standard 49 requirements: Down flow velocity Inflow velocity Airflow smoke patterns Filter leak Light intensity Vibration Noise level UV light integrity.
