Specifications include, but are not limited to: Within thirty (30) days after issuance of Notice to Proceed by the Department, the selected consultant will create, make available, and begin to administer needs assessments to evaluate OJT participant’s skills and areas of need to determine their ability to obtain and successfully hold a position in the highway construction/transportation industry. Trainees who have already received initial assessments will participate in periodic reviews. Personal information related to age, race, gender, and dependent information must be captured, as well as education and training, work experience, and other pertinent information that will aid in determining assistance that may be required, and that can be provided by the Department OJT Supportive Services Program.
