Specifications include, but are not limited to: Harris County is soliciting bids to furnish, deliver, construct and install a modular drug vault for the Sheriffs Office.- UL listed Class-M, light-weight, five (5) sided modular vault system. - L-Shaped to retrofit into an existing available space with closely approximated (+/- 2- 4) inside dimensions of 51-8 x 14-1 x 21-8 x 24-2 x 30 x 38-3 x 8-6 Height. - Utilize six (6) 1 diameter conduit entries for phone, electric and alarm system access (locations TBD). - Have six (6) port vents for HVAC. - Have one (1) 2 diameter penetration (offset) for sprinkler. - Have a modular panel thickness - Class-M @ 4 or less. - Consist of a total vault system weight of 54,000 lbs. or less. - Engineering assessment of the 2nd floor deck-load-bearing capability at vault site requires: two feet six inch (2-6) galvanized steel (or equivalent) plates, 3/8 in thickness (attached to concrete floor with 27 cal., 3 Hilti shots or equal) at twenty-four inches (24) on center be utilized to distribute the applied vault wall loads over a sufficient area to ensure the concrete deck supports the weight of the vault. Additionally, the interior vault columns will require six foot by six foot (6x6) bearing plates. Attachment of the vault walls/columns to the steel plates will be as specified by the vault manufacturer. - Be equipped with a DEA approved AR-5 Door (or equivalent) - 40 wide x 78 high clear opening. - Include an acceptable warranty.
