Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor will provide a comprehensive Water Treatment Service to be measured by the following objectives: 1. Provide a cost-effective program to keep systems clean and corrosion free. 2. Maintain corrosion and microbiological rates within specifications. Provide safe and error-free deliveries. 3. Minimize all health risks to building occupants and those in the surrounding communities, particularly in relation to Legionella Pneumophila. 4. Minimize the impact on local environmental resources, including water consumption and the environmental impact of tower discharge. 5. Maximize the operating efficiency of the systems. Prevent unscheduled down time for the critical systems and to minimize downtime for all other systems. 6. Contractor shall specify operational and water characteristics for each site by providing a report to the HVAC foreman. 7. Contractor shall provide on-site service calls as needed, or within 4 hours of notification in event of an emergency. Contact personnel and numbers, (i.e. cell phones and or pagers), will be provided to HVAC foreman. At a minimum, twelve (12) calls per year will be provided per facility. Two (2) site visits per month during height of cooling season may be necessary.
