Specifications include, but are not limited to: Professional services for the purpose of providing comprehensive statewide resource and referral services to Purchase of Care families. The Department of Health and Social Service is seeking proposals to provide resource and referral services to three different types of customers: 1. General public- This includes families in search of child care who do not receive resource and referral services as part of an employer plan. 2. DSS clients - This includes benefit recipients who are working or attending school/training who have an income of less than 200% of the federal poverty level. 3. DSS clients with children who are hard to place- This includes certain types of care that are in short supply, such as: Care for sick children Care for children with disabilities Care for infants and toddlers Care for children during non-traditional hours Care for children in remote locations
