Specifications include, but are not limited to:It is the intent of Fort Bend County to contract with one (1) vendor to furnish all labor, materials, chemicals, equipment and PPE (personal protective equipment) to clean and service the cooling towers at the Fort Bend County Jail and Justice Center. Chemically sterilize two (2) cooling towers at the Fort Bend County Justice Center, 1422 Eugene Heimann Circle, Richmond, TX 77469, separately/one by one to ensure microbiological control to include the following: 23.1.1 Shut down circulating pumps and drain cooling towers. 23.1.2 Pressure-wash all accessible distribution headers and tower fills from top to bottom. 23.1.3 Pressure wash all accessible drift eliminators and diverters. 23.1.4 Thoroughly clean all accessible inside walls and basins. 23.1.5 Wash and vacuum tower sludge to approved drains. 23.1.6 Remove, clean, and reinstall strainer baskets at the condenser water pumps. 23.1.7 Reassemble all parts and fill towers with water. 23.1.8 Chemically retreat cooling towers with inhibitors and biocides.
