The work includes the widening of 55th Street SE (approximately 900 feet) to provide left turn lanes and intersection improvements at 15th Avenue SE; removal, shaping, and recompacting existing gravel drive to serve as aggregate base (approximately 600 feet); import of clay fill and subgrade preparation; paving of approximately 1,000 feet of 15th Avenue SE including curb and gutter; providing adjustment rings and castings for existing storm sewer structures; import and placement of topsoil; landscaping; and the installation of street lighting.
