Specifications include, but are not limited to: Dallas County Schools (DCS) will be making awards to companies who can meet energyefficiency needs for projects, equipment, and services. These needs may be in regard toboilers, lighting, HVAC, refrigeration or various other systems and be for Dallas CountySchools and related entities.The intent is to have these awards cover Dallas County Schools and relatedentities.In regard to this Request for Proposal, the effort is to award companies thatsupply the best valued systems and services in meeting energy efficiencyprojects.Evaluation Criteria is shown within this RFP.This RFP will be for various commodities and/ or services that would fallunder the label of being a Department of Energy efficiency need.Also, once awarded, the approved companies may be requested to supplypricing or quotes for particular projects.It is anticipated that several vendors will be awarded.Awarded companies will be approved for a period of 1 year with thepossibility of having an award extended for more years.This RFP is not for a particular project, but does request maximum pricingper hour, discounts, references, experiences, markups, etc., so that vendorscan be approved and awarded prior to the need and to solicit quotes from.This RFP is for maximum pricing per hour, etc., and does not prevent avendor from quoting lower pricing on projects, etc
