Specifications include, but are not limited to: Install a new automatic sprinkler system to be tied into the existing manual-wet standpipe system to create a single new combined sprinkler and standpipe system for the Facilities Services Complex Building (FC1). Upgrade the corridor from the northern stair to the exterior of the building to create a new exit passageway. Modify existing fire alarm, HVAC, and electrical systems to support the work. This is a RE-BID of the identical scope of work as the original Notice to Bid on September 7, 2011, with scope broken out into Base Bid (First Floor, including all exterior underground work), Add-Alternate #1 (Second Floor), and Add-Alternate #2 (Third floor and Fourth Floor/Mechanical Penthouse) as further specified in new drawing sheet FX1. The project duration / time of contract performance for the base bid scope of work shall be ninety (90) calendar days.
