Specifications include, but are not limited to: Statement/Specifications/Scope of Work 4.1.1 Technical Approach Vendor shall submit with its proposal a technical approach that demonstrates its understanding of the contract requirements, approach to proper maintenance, water quality requirements and proper and safe chemical usage and material handling. Vendor shall sign-in and out on every visit to any campus at the main office. Vendor shall notify immediately any deficiencies and potential problems to the HVAC Supervisor. Vendors providing these services shall comply with all applicable Federal and State regulations and laws. Vendors will provide with the proposal copies of any license and/or certification required by Federal and State law to provide these services. 4.1.2 Condenser Water Treatment Specifications - Condenser water treatment program shall comply with the Langelier Saturation Index (LSI) to prevent scaling and corrosion. - Vendor shall submit manufacturers documentation verifying what LSI their product will support with proposal. - Bleed-off shall be adjusted and maintained in sufficient amount to maintain an LSI consistent with the performance capability of the manufacturers products. - Vendor shall provide manufacturers original product labels showing dilution rates and chemical contents with proposal. - Vendor shall provide MSDS for all products as per OSHA requirements with proposal. - Vendor shall provide a copy of the State of Texas Water Treatment Program or back-up documentation with the proposal. - Vendor shall provide in addition to condenser water treatment chemical a non- acidic chemical to remove scale. 4.1.3 Closed Loop Systems Water Treatment Specifications (Hot/Chilled) - Chemical will be a nitrite formulation.
