Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor will provide training to inmate workers at seven correctional facilities within the State of Vermont, in the fields of cosmetology for women and barbering for male inmates. Contractor will train inmates three to seven days per month and contractor will assist in barbering of inmates and training of inmate workers. Each session will be a minimum of six hours of training per day. Contractor will also assist in barbering and cosmetology services. Contractor will train each inmate barber/cosmetologist on their job performance and in accordance with Health and Safety standards of the Vermont Board of Barbers & Cosmetologists. Contractor will work with the contract manager to identify new trainees on a regular basis and contractor will maintain a listing of all inmates trained and dates of training; Contractor will conduct training sessions every month at one or two different facilities and will work with the State to develop an annual training schedule.
