Specifications include, but are not limited to: LPISDs primary interest is to have a pre-selected company to provide of all necessary disaster recovery and restoration services in the event of a hurricane, major flooding, tornado or fire damaging one or more of its campus facilities. The selected company will need to provide, at a minimum, the following: - Availability and response 24/7/365 - Local presence, including the staging of vital equipment, in close proximity of LPISDs campuses - Response within 2 hours of notification - Services to include but not limited to: o Emergency mitigation, including but not limited to debris removal, demolition, and installation of temporary roofing, structural stabilization, boarding up, fencing, etc. o Identification and mitigation of health and safety issues o Drying and dehumidification, including cleaning and decontamination, water extraction and structural drying o Remediation, including asbestos and mold o Contents restoration, including documents, equipment and electronic data recovery o Provision of temporary power and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), including generators and cooling o Steel, wood and concrete Structural repairs o Interior finish remodeling and repair o Emergency repair of mechanical, and electrical and plumbing systems o Demolition o Compliance with applicable emergency building and health and safety codes o Effective cost management practices
