Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendor shall provide Evidence-Based Addiction services of the appropriate dose and duration to individuals referred by the East Central District Court through the Adult Drug Court program. These individuals will be divided into two teams to receive services. To ensure the services match the population being served, proposed services and curriculum will be reviewed and approved by the East Central District Court Drug Court Team, DOCR Drug Court Team, and State. Examples of curriculum include: “Thinking for a Change” or “Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Substance Abuse” (CBISA), both of which are EBP, and proven effective for this identified population. Objectives include the following: Reduce Recidivism/Incarceration Time Abstain from the use of Alcohol and Drugs Reduce costs to the criminal justice system and community Increase length of involvement in treatment programs by participants Decrease the criminogenic risk and needs of the participants as measured by the LSI-R Assessment Instrument Increase the coordination of services, including correctional and treatment services and court involvement
